Aputure Pro Coworker and Nikon D7000

I have an Aputure Pro Coworker wireless remote shutter since 1 year.

It works with my Nikon D90, but does not work with my Nikon D7000, although the manufacturer claims that it should work.
I am looking for experiences from other users of the Coworker / D7000 combination.
Have you been able to make it work?

In fact it works.Probably I did not push the connector hard enough in the plug…

By the way, I have another problem: if I leave the Coworker transmitter some days with the 12V battery inside, it empties the battery. Consequently, I must remove the battery when I do not use the Coworker. That is really annoying.
